Can anyone book an event at the Summersville Arena & Conference Center?
What is the deposit and payment schedule?
Yes! Once an event is booked, a contract with the details and price is sent to the customer. At that time a 25% deposit is due to confirm the date on our calendar. Marianne, Linda and Tony are available to discuss room options. For catered events, a 75% deposit is due two weeks prior to the event. Refunds cannot be guaranteed if cancelled within two weeks prior to the event.
Are WIFI services, tables, podiums, and screens available at the facility?
Yes! Please discuss your needs with either Marianne, Linda or Tony. They will assist you with any special requirements you may have for your event.
I have a budget for my special event. Do you have an affordable dinner option available?
Yes! It is our pleasure to work out any type of special needs that you may have for your event, including price! We have a wide array of food options available for different budgets. Lunches start at $7.50 to $10.00 per guest. Dinners range from $10.00 up to $24.00. Please take a look at our menu and feel free to call Chef Hannah Radford, our in-house caterer for any questions.
May I have a sample of the dinner menu that I have selected?
Yes! Tastings can be scheduled for large group or special events. A fee may be charged depending upon the food selected such as Prime Rib. If an event is booked, half of the sample dinner price will be credited to your event!
Can linens, tables and decorations be ordered through the Armory?
Yes! We can order linens and in house decorations are available for you to view and rent at a considerably lower cost than purchasing or renting them from outside the facility. Additionally, we can assist in floral arrangements and center pieces. Tables and Chair covers are also available. Please contact the Arena & Conference center at 304-872-3722 for details.
Is Bar Service Available for Special Events?
Yes! Top Shelf Alcohol, Sodas and Water are available through our Bar Service. A $75.00 fee is charged for Bar Set up with consumption plus 20% will be applied to your final bill. Bartenders are supplied for $10.00 an hour. It is suggested that you will need 1 Bartender per 75 people. Alcohol is not permitted to be brought into the Arena & Conference Center. It must be purchased through our facility per State and Insurance regulations.
I have a budget for my special event. Do you affordable packages?
Yes! It is our pleasure to work within your budget. We will schedule an appointment to assess your needs and outline what we can do to work within your budget.
Do we have banquet and round tables?
Yes, we can provide your choice of banquet or round tables for your event.
Do you have chair covers and sashes for chairs for formal events?
Yes, we have chair covers at a cost of $1.50 each and can order sashes for you depending on the availability of colors. You will charged according to what is ordered and available.
Can your facility accommodate a trade show?
Yes! We have a 24,000 square foot arena and it is an excellent choice for a trade show. We can provide show booths in 10 x 10, 10 x 30, and 10 x 40 with your choice of pipe and drape in black, silver, blue, light green and forest green. Please call Marianne at 304-872-3722 for more details!
Can your facility accommodate a convention?
Yes! We have a 24,000 square foot arena perfect for vendor space or a large gathering room for 2, 400-2, 800 people. We also have a 3, 700 square foot conference room with the capability of being divided into six classrooms. We have several hotels in very close proximity to the facility with a total room capacity of 600 rooms.
Can your facility accommodate a sporting event?
Absolutely! We have a beautiful hardwood basketball court and bleacher seating with individual seats with backs and seats to accommodate 2, 000-2,400. We also have the space for wrestling, boxing, volleyball tournaments and more. We have 2 locker rooms and space for more changing areas.

Can your facility accommodate a wedding?
Absolutely! Our Arena or our conference center can accommodate a wedding, depending on the size of the event. We can do all the work for you to help alleviate any stress! All you have to do is show up and make beautiful lasting memories! Our decorating and catering team s will work with you and customize your event to meet your needs and budget!
Can your facility accommodate a concert?
Yes! We have a stage and great sound! We can also provide ticket takers, ushers, and whatever your needs. We have seating capacity for 2, 400-2,800 guests. We do have experience with concerts, so please call Marianne today and schedule an appointment for your event .
Can your facility help promote an event?
We can certainly direct you to the newspapers, radio, and television stations in the area and would be happy to share with you our advertising specials on our website. Ask Marianne about the details when you book your event.
